Summary
The DaqOEM Series are single-board solutions for Ethernet-based embedded and OEM applications requiring analog, digital and frequency I/O. All of the features of our popular DaqBook/2000 Series are available in the DaqOEM board-level solution.

The DaqOEM is powered by a user-supplied +10 to +30 VDC input at 15 W, via a standard 5-pin DIN connector. An optional AC/DC converter (TR-40U) provides power from a 110 to 250 VAC source. All signal I/O is accessed via three 40-pin dual in-line connectors on the board (P1, P2 and P3 connectors described in the DaqBook/2000 Series). Optional cables are available for converting the 40 position header to a male DB37 connector.

Signal Conditioning and Expansion
The DaqOEM can expand its built-in analog and digital I/O with the DBK family of signal conditioning and expansion options (see pricing tab for a complete listing). DBK cards and modules are available to measure a variety of sensor types including thermocouples, RTD’s, accelerometers, strain gages, vehicle bus parameters, and more.
Included Software
DaqView DaqView is IOtech’s included Out-of-the-Box software which allows you to verify signal connections, acquire and save data to disk, and graphically view real-time data within moments of taking your IOtech hardware Out-of-the-Box. Easily set up all of your hardware, acquisition, and display parameters without programming via a simple spreadsheet-style screen. DaqView is a full-featured acquisition and display application that provides all the functionality you’ll need for most data-logging applications.
DaqCOM DaqCOM is a family of powerful programming tools for IOtech’s WaveBook, and Daq products. DaqCOM uses Microsoft®’s Component Object Model (COM) to provide a host of features for users who are developing custom applications with IOtech data acquisition products. DaqCOM can be used with any COM-compatible language, including Visual Basic®, VBA®, and Visual C++ operating under Windows®, as well as Visual Studio® .NET.*
NI LabVIEW™ Support NI LabVIEW™ Support is organized in a tiered modular architecture allowing improved VI customization and rapid device integration capabilities. Block diagrams have consistent wiring conventions which greatly increase the ability to adapt VI’s to specific application needs. Diagrams are well annotated to minimize application design effort. Clean, easy to understand front panels allow end users to quickly configure channel and acquisition settings.
MATLAB® Support MATLAB® Support is available for IOtech hardware by using the MATLAB Data Acquisition Toolbox. The Data Acquisition Toolbox enables MATLAB to control and acquire data from data acquisition equipment and allows measured data to be streamed and analyzed live into MATLAB. The data collected using test and measurement tools can be brought directly into the MATLAB workspace for fast and accurate data analysis, data manipulation, and pre- and post-processing.
PostView PostView is a time and frequency domain post-acquisition data viewing package which is integrated and ready to use from within your View package when you install it. PostView provides easy to use basic time and frequency domain data viewing for IOtech data acquisition View packages including DaqView, WaveView, Personal DaqView, LogView, and ChartView.
Additional Software
DASYLab® Software DASYLab® Software lets you interactively develop PC-based data acquisition applications by simply attaching functional icons. DASYLab offers real-time analysis, control, and the ability to create custom graphical user interfaces (GUIs). What’s more, in contrast to other graphical programming environments, which can require weeks of training to master, DASYLab has a very short user-learning curve. Many applications can be configured in a few minutes, rather than days or weeks.
