The USB-1024 Series adds 24 lines of logic-level digital I/O to any USB port. The USB-1024HLS is a 24-channel high current digital I/O device with 5.5 V input voltage, up to 64 mA sink input/24 mA source output, and one 32-bit event counter, and can drive many logic level devices directly, eliminating the need for costly buffer circuitry.

Software support includes DAQami, an out-of-the-box application for data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Data can be viewed in real-time or post-acquisition on user-configurable displays. Drivers are included for the most popular applications and programming languages including Visual C++®, Visual C#®, Visual Basic®.NET, DASYLab®, LabVIEW, Linux®, MATLAB®, and Python.

    The USB-1024HLS is a great device when you need Digital Input or Output from a Laptop, or desktop PC with limited I/O bus. The 3 eight bit ports can be configured for Input or Output separately. The ones set for Input can be jumpered for Pull-up or Pull-down using internal 47k resistors. Works great, Very easy to setup.

    Excellent alternative to the PCI DIO24H

    As PCs evolve, IT tends to wnat to move towards smaller, more compact computers. In addition, technologies such as PCI are slowly going away. In order to be proactive, we've looked at alternatives to using the PCI-DIO24H. The first alternative was the PCIe version, but it's lowest cost option was 2-3 times more than the DIO24H. The next item we looked at was the USB-DIO24H/37 and it worked great. The only problem was that this was in a "exposed" electronic card form, which is not the best option. Now, there's a USB-1024HLS that does everything that I need. With the USB versions, we didn't even have any issues when the Universal Libraries changed from 6.01 to 6.26 when the PCI drivers changed names! The only real complaint we've had with this USB device is that the pin numbering is different from the other two DIO boards. Other than that, it's been great.

    Nice Product, super easy to use - much easier install than the PCI board equivalent, Best thing is the tech support & They are really great here!!! Can't say I've ever has such great tech support ! Very nice examples in various programming languages given - much appreciated!
