We would like to use the data acquisition board in a setup but are a bit worried of damaging it with high voltage. Therefor we would like to opto-isolate the board from its input.

We do offer termination boards that support opto-isolated 5B modules. Our ISO-RACK16/P supports up to 16 ISO-5B opto-isolated modules (although not a direct fit) The ISO-RACK16/P can be custom wired to the USB-2527 using the TB-101. Summary
The USB-2527 from Measurement Computing is a multifunction measurement and control board designed for the USB bus. It is supported under popular Microsoft Windows® operating systems.

The USB-2527 provides either eight differential or 16 single-ended analog inputs with 16-bit resolution. It offers seven software-selectable analog input ranges of ±10 V, ±5 V, ±2 V, ±1 V, ±0.5 V, ±0.2 V, and ±0.1 V. You can configure up to four of the analog inputs as differential thermocouple (TC) inputs. The USB-2527 also has four 16-bit, 1 MHz analog output channels with an output range of -10 V to +10 V. The board has 24 high-speed digital I/O, two timer outputs, and four 32-bit counters. It provides up to 12 MS/s scanning on all digital input lines. You can operate all analog I/O, digital I/O, and counter/timer I/O synchronously.

The USB-2527 is reliable and rugged enough for any DAQ application. If it weren’t, it wouldn’t come with an industry-best limited lifetime warranty and Harsh Environment program.

Optional Software
DASYLab® Software DASYLab® Software lets you interactively develop PC-based data acquisition applications by simply attaching functional icons. DASYLab offers real-time analysis, control, and the ability to create custom graphical user interfaces (GUIs). What’s more, in contrast to other graphical programming environments, which can require weeks of training to master, DASYLab has a very short user-learning curve. Many applications can be configured in a few minutes, rather than days or weeks.

MATLAB® Support for MCC Products MATLAB® Support for MCC Products – MATLAB® is a software environment for data acquisition, data analysis, and application development. MATLAB supports MCC hardware by using the MATLAB® Data Acquisition Toolbox™. MATLAB supports the data acquisition and analysis process along with interfacing with data acquisition devices and instruments, analyzing and visualizing the data. It also produces presentation-quality reports to share results with others.
TracerDAQ® Pro TracerDAQ® Pro provides four virtual instrument applications used to graphically display and store input data – and generate output signals – within minutes of installing Measurement Computing data acquisition hardware. The applications allow the user to customize appearance, store configurations for future use, save data to a file for export and – with the use of interactive hotspots – change settings while the application is running.
