1. Description

Firmware version 1.21

This firmware update resolves an issue in which timestamps 
of logged data may be offset from the actual time that data 
was logged. This problem has been observed in configurations 
where a new log file is started immediately following the end 
of the prior log file (without requiring a trigger). The 
incorrect timestamps appear after the first data file is logged.

2. Updating the LGR-5320 Series firmware 
================================================

Determine installed firmware version:

To determine the firmware version currently installed on the
LGR-5320 Series device, apply power to the device, connect 
it to a USB port, and run DAQLog. Select Device Info from the
Available Items pane, and view the firmware Version on the
right side of the DAQLog window.


Firmware update procedure:

1. Remove power from the LGR-5320 Series logger. Make sure 
   the logger is still connected to a USB port on your computer.

2. Press and hold the "Load" button on top of the logger, 
   and then apply power to the logger.

3. If AutoPlay is enabled on your system, an "AutoPlay" 
   dialog box displays a volume named "CRP DISABLD." 
   Click "Open folder to view files." 
   If AutoPlay is not enabled, navigate to the MSD drive 
   using Windows Explorer.

4. Using Windows Explorer, drag the new firmware.bin file 
   into the "CRP DISABLD" volume of the logger.

   Note: When running Windows 7 and Windows Vista, delete 
   the existing firmware.bin file first. Windows XP displays  
   a "Copy and Replace" dialog box that allows you to 
   overwrite the existing file.

To confirm that the update was successful, power cycle the 
device  and verify the firmware version using the procedure above.

4. Previous firmware revisions

Firmware version 1.1D

This firmware update resolves an issue in which a device 
that is configured for "Autostart new log upon device 
powerup," does not start logging when power is applied.
This update also resolves an issue in which the write protect 
status of an installed SD memory card is not detected properly.
