1. Description

Firmware version 1.07

This firmware update resolves an issue with AInScan when
after stopping a scan, the current count may occasionally
be low. If event notification is used, an event may 
occasionally not occur when the status goes Idle. This problem 
may be PC-dependent.

In addition, during Android library development - planned for 
release later in 2014 - it was discovered that the board would hang 
when AInScanStop was called after waking the device from the
suspend state. This firmware update also resolves this issue.

2. Updating firmware using InstaCal
================================================

Determine installed firmware version:

To determine the firmware version currently installed on your 
device, run the InstaCal utility provided with the MCC DAQ software.
Double-click the device to open the Board Configuration dialog.
The currently installed firmware version is displayed in the 
lower right corner of the dialog.

Firmware update procedure:

1. Download the 'USB-1208HS-4AO.iic' file and copy it to the
   FirmwareImages subdirectory of the DAQ installation directory
   ("Program Files\Measurement Computing\DAQ\FirmwareImages" by default).
2. Connect the USB-1208HS-4AO to your computer.
3. Run InstaCal and click the Download Firmware toolbar icon to open the
   Firmware Loader dialog.
4. Click the Load Firmware button to start installing the firmware. 

After the firmware is installed, the Status field displays 
"Firmware update completed", and the "Current firmware version" field 
displays the firmware version installed on the device. 

Click the X in the upper right corner to exit.
