We have a test set up that is on Win7, but our company is forcing Win10. Does my older PCI-DIO48H support Win10?. Can you advise on driver updates that are required?

Assuming your PCI-DIO48H has the PLX brand PCI controller IC (the big square IC mounted by the PCI bus connector), then yes, your PCI-DIO48H is compatible with Windows 10. Answers

The MC answer is unclear. What is the difference between "Through the backplate" and "Pass-Through Back-Plate". I have been told that the RT has a connector "ON" the back-plate, but a picture would really help.

The PCI-DIO48H-RT offers a convenient “Through the Back-Plate” right angle 50 pin connector bracket that simplifies your cable connection. While the PCI-DIO48H supports a “Pass-Through Back-Plate” bracket that allows you to pass your 50 pin cable through for access to the 50 pin connector.
